Geraldine J. Durfee

Geraldine Janet Durfee age 90 of Sparta died Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Trinity Health St. Mary Hospital. She was born April 11, 1935 in Grand Rapids the daughter of Ernest and Faye (Rohde) Parks. Gerri was very crafty in her younger years and always enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving are her children, Theodore (Nancy) James, Daniel (Barbara) James, Greg James, Sue (Bill) Westers; grandchildren, Ted (Tia) James, Aaron (Corinn) James, Amy James, Danielle (Joe) Sanders, Doug James, Brian (Jonnie) James, Amanda (Matt) Horton, Rachael (Rob) Kern, Janet James, Bill (Stephanie) Westers, Nicholas (Yvette) Westers, Katie (Josh) Middleton; 20 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Durfee, brother, Miles Parks. Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Wednesday, July 2 with visitation beginning at 10:00 am at City Church, 3233 10 Mile Rd. NE Rockford. Pastor Charlie Myers, officiating.
