Franklin C. Forner

Franklin Forner Jr. age 62 of Sand Lake died Thursday, August 17, 2023 at his home. Frank was born November 10, 1960 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Frank & Betty (Gegoski) Forner. He was a man of the earth who enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and all animals. He was the proud owner of “Franks Bunny Barn.” Frank was a custodian for many years at Grand Rapids Community College. Surviving are his siblings, Dora Forner, Beth (Rob) Parker, Norm (Sandy) Forner, Steven Forner; nieces and nephews, Janet (Kyle) Hulett, Glenn (Carly) Parker, Scott (Alessandra) Berzley, Alex (Megan) Berzley, Amanda Forner, Matthew Berzley, Adam Parker and double “Unc” to many more. He was preceded in death by his parents and his dog, Smokey. A celebration of Frank's life will be held 1:00 - 4:00 pm Sunday, September 24 at the C.B. Leaver Park Pavilion, Kent City.
