Frank T. Korcal

Frank T. Korcal, age 89 of Newaygo went to meet his Lord on Wednesday, December 27, 2006. He was born November 4, 1917 in Ivanhoe, MN the son of Francis and Frances (Burczyk) Korcal. Frank retired from American Seating Co. in 1975 after 30 years of service. He enjoyed camping, fishing and ice fishing. He was preceded in death by his son, Richard, his parents, 5 brothers and 3 sisters. Surviving are his loving wife of 66 years, Irene; son, Fred (Deb); daughter-in-law, Charlotte Korcal; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 4 brothers and 2 sisters. The family will receive friends Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. He will lie in state Saturday 10 am at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, Newaygo until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Rev. Fr. Thomas Boufford celebrant. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Sand Lake. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
