Floresta E. Closser

Floresta Eloise Closser of Cedar Springs died Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Corewell Health-Blodgett Hospital. She was born November 11, 1936 in Marion, IN the daughter of George and Hazel (Hockett) Buroker. Floresta retired from Keebler and shared the “reject” cookies and pop tarts with her family. She was a huge Detroit Tigers fan, enjoyed going to the casino, cruises, and Eeyore. Floresta’s greatest joy was her family and she enjoyed going along on many family vacations. Surviving are her children, Charles Closser (fiancé Kearstin Miller), Linda Closser, Randall Closser, Robert (Cinda) Closser; grandchildren, Gerald Closser, Lisa (Eron) Dean, Daniel Closser, Keitha (Justin) Dodger, Amanda Stanley, Paul Closser, Jacob (Jennifer) Closser, Samuel Closser; 22 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; sister, Virginia Morris. She was preceded in death by her husband Ellis, sister, Marilyn Bott, great great granddaughter Paisley Dirks. The family will meet with friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Monday, Nov. 6 at K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs where her funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am with visitation at 10:00 am.
