Florence D. Wyatt 86 passed away Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Holland Home – Raybrook Manor. Mrs. Wyatt was a longtime resident of Naples, Florida and formerly of Rockford and Traverse City. She was born July 22, 1928 in Suttons Bay, MI the daughter of Carl and Clara Belle (Kroupa) Herman. She was a very devout Catholic and active member of the parishes she attended. She enjoyed sewing for herself and others, making rosaries, gardening and her cats. Acts of service was her love language. Surviving are her husband of 66 years, John “Jack” Wyatt; children, Jean (Jim) Hessler, Ruth (Les) Knoll, Jim Wyatt, Anne (Ernie) Volk, Paul (Mimi) Wyatt; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her 3 brothers and 1 sister. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-9 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, where a Vigil Service will be held at 8:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Consolation, Rockford, with Rev. Fr. Lou Anderson, presiding. The family will greet friends one hour before the service at church. Interment Rockford Cemetery.
