Fernnette Marie Morgan

Fernnette Marie Morgan, 66 of Kent City, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2014 at her home. Fernnette was born June 1, 1948 in Big Rapids, MI the daughter of Robert and Elizabeth (Jacobson) Duffy, Sr. She was a Registered Nurse who was very loved by both her patients and her community. Her daughters describe her as caring, giving, funny, compassionate, having patience and very supporting. She had a special love for her granddaughters. Surviving are her daughters, Jennifer (Steve) Nauta, Heather Morgan; granddaughters, Morgan and Sidney Nauta; mother, Elizabeth Duffy; brothers, Mike (Deb) Duffy, Rob (Dolores) Duffy; sisters, Colleen (Jack) Roersma, Patricia (Roger) Kozal; 18 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Duffy Sr. and a sister, Kathy Schurman. The family will greet friends Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. A memorial service will be held Friday 11:00 am at Mamrelund Lutheran Church, Kent City. The family will greet friends at 10:00 am. Pastor Leonard Dahlgren officiating.
