Farrand F. Raymond Jr.

Farrand F. Raymond Jr., 65 of Muskegon, died Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Hackley Hospital, Muskegon. Farrand was born November 9, 1947 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Farrand and Wanda (Ryan) Raymond. He worked in small engine repair and was always willing to help his family and others. He was a foster parent to many children. He was a prayer warrior. He enjoyed cooking, making cotton candy, joking with others, bargain hunting and he loved spending time with his fiancée, Mary Jean. Surviving are his fiancée, Mary Jean Vesper; children, Jodie (John) Mellem, Rebecca (James) Kolbe, Farrand “Bubba” (Sephram) Raymond III, Lilly (Shane) Olejarczyk, Vern, Bruce, Howard, Trisha, Ronnie, and Kenny Raymond; close friends, Mike Sizemore and Pastor Nichols; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; mother, Wanda Raymond; brother, Darcey (Sandra) Raymond; sisters, Patricia Asplund, Suzanne Raymond; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11am – 1pm at the Cedar Creek Community Church, 2969 14 Mile Road, Sparta where services will be held at 1:00 pm. Pastor Richard Nichols officiating.
