Evelyn V. Boroff

Evelyn V. Boroff, 95 of Sand Lake, died Monday, March 16, 2009 at Metron of Cedar Springs. Mrs. Boroff was born August 2, 1913 in Six Lakes, MI the daughter of Frank and Cora (Russell) Melle. She loved being with her family and is survived by two children, Sandra & Jim Wood of Sand Lake, Kenneth & Thelma Boroff of Mecosta; several grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren; one brother, Ralph Melle of Grand Rapids; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray in 1984; her parents; son, James Rose; grandson, Duane Wilson; sisters, Ruth Clark, Opal Lebeck, Velma Stoddard; brothers, Ludlo Melle, George Melle. The family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, where services will be held Friday 11:00 am. Pastor Jeffrey England from Victory Baptist Church officiating. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery, Six Lakes.
