Erma M. Brethauer

Erma M. Brethauer, 74 of Cedar Springs, a woman of great faith, died Monday, June 8, 2009 at her home. Mrs. Brethauer was born November 3, 1934 in Nashville, IN the daughter of Otha and Ruth (Helms) Mathis. She was a very giving and generous person who loved people. She would give of herself to anyone. Surviving are two daughters, Linda & George Booth of Cedar Springs, Bellva Slick of Hopkinsville, KY; three grandchildren, Allen & Sarah Booth, James & Jen Booth, Christopher Slick; one great granddaughter, Isabel Rose Booth; one cousin, Patricia & Del Miglori of Ft. Walton Beach, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fredrick in 2002. In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place and a private family service will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Cedar Springs Rotary Club, Gilda’s Club, or Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Arrangements by Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
