Ercilia "Mary" Drayton

Ercilia “Mary” (Cardosa) Drayton, 60 of Cedar Springs, died Sunday, May 2, 2010 at her home. Mary was born July 28, 1949 in Texas the daughter of Manuel and Narcissa (Ruiz) Cardosa. She had worked at Imperial Graphics in Walker for 13 years. Mary was a very caring person with a big heart, good sense of humor, and was very proud of her daughters and family. Surviving are two daughters, Tracy Dahl, and Angela (Curtis) VanWingen; five grandchildren, Destinee, Shelby, Korben, Karlie, Adrianna; mother, Narcissa Cardosa; five brothers, Roberto (Sue) Cardosa, Juan (Robin) Cardosa, Armando Cardosa, Alberto (Debbie) Cardosa, Michael (Shari) Cardosa; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Manuel Cardosa, and husband, Cornelius Drayton. The family would like to thank Great Lakes Hospice for their care. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday 11:00 am at Mary Queen of Apostles Church, Sand Lake. Rev. Fr. Joseph W. Kenshol celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
