Elton J. Steinebach

Elton J. Steinebach, 74 of Cedar Springs, died Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Spectrum Health – Butterworth Campus. Mr. Steinebach was born February 3, 1940 in Kingsley, MI the son of Lawrence and Emma Steinebach. He had worked at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans. Surviving are his children, Kimberly (John) Hooper, Timothy Steinebach, Teresa (Brent) Jones, Lynette (Douglas) Smith, Karl Steinebach; grandchildren, Emmary, Douglas, Brandon, Denver, Cody, Adam, Deklyn, Kalli, Zane, Evan, Dale, Cory; great granddaughter, Kylie; sisters, Shirley Rogers, Eileen Ruginis; brothers, Richard (Karen) Steinebach, James (Patti) Steinebach, Bruce Steinebach; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family will greet friends Sunday from noon until time of service at 2:00 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Pastor Chuck Smith officiating. Interment Monday 11:00 am at Inland Township Cemetery, Interlochen. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
