Elton B. Goodell

Elton B. Goodell, aged 95, of Cedar Springs, passed away Monday, December 26, 2005. Elton was preceded in death by his wife, Marcella in 1995 and two sisters, Eithel and Neva. For the last several months Elton has made his home at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans. Elton was a member of the Cedar Springs Free Methodist Church. Surviving are his brother, Verlin (Donna) Goodell of Grand Rapids; a special cousin, Bruce Eldred of Nelson Township; special friends, the children of Mike and Doris Rayce; and other nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Cedar Springs Free Methodist Church with Pastor Garry Cruce officiating. Interment will take place at Coral Cemetery. Thank you to Pastor Cruce and Dawn Miles for their special assistance. Memorial contributions to the church building fund have been suggested.
