Ellen L. Moore

Ellen was born March 16, 1948 in East Orange, NJ the daughter of Charles and Jeannette (Lanning) Lindner. She had worked for Kent County Farm Bureau as an administrative assistant for 35 years and was part of Pine Border Farm. She served on the Solon Township Planning Commission, was a member of the Cedar Springs Women’s Club, WSAM, Cedar Springs Band Boosters, and Michigan Farm Bureau. She was an avid reader, enjoyed history, movies, music, crafts, and Michigan State football and basketball. Surviving are her husband, Carl whom she married on March 27, 1971; daughters, Kristina (Michael) Kornoely, Katharine (Christopher) Judge; grandchildren, Rachael, Jacob, Henry, Caleb and Tyler; brother, Charles Lindner; sister, Jeanne Ledingham. She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Audrey. The family will greet friends Thursday, Nov. 11 from 1-3 and 5-7 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The service will be Friday 1:00 pm at Bridgeway Community Church, 7700 Childsdale Ave, Rockford. Pastor Mike Antuma officiating. Interment Solon Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
