Elizabeth "Lisa" Alberda

Elizabeth Ann “Lisa” Alberda age 65 of Cedar Springs passed away Friday, November 24, 2023 after a battle with pulmonary fibrosis at Select Specialty Hospital Battle Creek. She was born in Dearborn, MI on January 10, 1958 the daughter of Thomas and Eleanor (Whitman) Anderson. Lisa was a beloved wife, sister, aunt, great aunt and step grandma. She was always putting the needs of others before her own. She took care of everybody, including her mother-in-law for 16 years. Her nephews and nieces meant more to her than words can describe. She loved baking, bird watching, her dogs and spending time with family. Lisa was preceded in death by her mother and father; sister, Sarah and her stepfather, Robert Anderson. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Douglas; siblings, Mike (Jan) Irwin, Lori (Rob) Putt, Mark Anderson, Michelle (Bob) Cook, Maegan (Jeff) Wert; special niece, Jennifer (Todd) Frazier and their children, Aubree and Micah; several aunts, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, many friends and her dog, Autumn. We will miss her dearly. Lisa requested a celebration of life be held in her honor as opposed to a traditional funeral service. Services are still being planned at this time. Arrangements by K.E. Sad are the hearts that love you Silent are the tears that fall Living here without you is the hardest part of all. You did so many things for us Your heart was kind and true And when we needed someone We could always count on you. The special years will not return When we are all together But wish the love in our hearts You’ll be with us forever.
