Elaine J. Smith

Elaine J. Smith age 81 of Sand Lake, died Monday, April 8, 2019 at her home. Elaine was born June 12, 1937 in Alma, MI the daughter of Phillip and Marian (Jennings) Ayris. She worked in Human Resources and retired from General Motors. She loved to walk, was very outgoing, cared about others and was always willing to help. Surviving are her husband, Calvin; children, Sheila Rich, Teresa Kinsley, Steve Smith, Judi Dunmire; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Sharon Allen. She was preceded in death by a son, Clifford. A memorial service will be held Monday 11:00 am at Huggard Bible Church. Pastor Rick Malone officiating.
