Edith Menezes Tindall age 98 of Cedar Springs, MI went to be with her heavenly Savior on Monday, June 24, 2024. She was born February 28, 1926 in Azores, Portugal. Edith will be lovingly remembered and missed by her daughter, Doris Tindall; nephews; nieces; sister-in-law from California; extended family and friends. She spent the last years of her life living at Green Acres of Cedar Springs of which the family would like to thank the staff and Interim Hospice for their loving care. Edith came to the United States after marrying Master Sargent Wyman McConnell Tindall. She was a military wife for many years, traveling around the United States and living in Japan. She never went back to visit her home country but kept in constant contact with the five brothers and sisters until their own deaths. Edith loved nature…taking care of her flowers and gardens. She once won 3rd place for having the most beautiful yard in Cedar Springs for which someone had entered her name. She cared very much for all animals…especially the dogs and house kitties that she adored in her lifetime. She grew to have her daughter’s passion for horses by taking pride and caring for the horses that came into her life. The family will greet friends at K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs Monday, July 1 at 11:00 am until time of service at 12:00 pm. Rev. Larry Young officiating. Interment East Nelson Cemetery, 18 Mile Rd., Cedar Springs.
