Earl H. Walker

View Photo Tribute Earl H. Walker, 71 of Mecosta, formerly of Cedar Springs, died Monday, October 22, 2007 at Metro Health Hospital. Mr. Walker was born February 14, 1936 in Rochester, MI the son of Leslie and Nettie (Harvey) Walker. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was very active in veterans organizations including the Greenville American Legion Post #101, Grand Rapids 40et8, and the AmVets. He enjoyed camping and traveling. Surviving are 3 children, Jim Walker of Newaygo, Ray Walker of Newaygo, Donna & Jack Adema of Kentwood; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; special friend, Millie Scott. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie in 1980. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, where services will be held Thursday 1:00 pm. Pastor Brian Rafferty officiating. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, Cedar Springs, with military honors conducted by the Kent County Veteran Honor Guard. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
