Duane B. Harriman age 68 of Cedar Springs went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at his home. He was born June 15, 1955 in Rochester, MI the son of John and Helen (Bellairs) Harriman. He retired from General Motors after 30 years and then worked for Headstart for 12 years. He enjoyed making jewelry and ink pens from wood. He was a very active and devoted member of The Springs Church, Cedar Springs. Duane was a loving husband and father. Surviving are his wife of almost 50 years, Sharon; children, Wendy (Joey) Rivera, Jason Harriman, Amie (Curtis) Drake; grandchildren, Sarah Vinton, Ryan Gibbons, Joshua Gibbons, Ella Harriman, Rose Drake, Kurt Spangler, Faith Spangler, Kay Spangler, Danny Spangler, Scott Spangler, Shaylee Larsen, Brittani Beemer, Allysa Bannen; 2 great grandchildren; siblings, Sherry (Jeff) Knickerbocker, Alan (Dawn) Harriman, Rita (Dennis) Kelp; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, Daniel, Roger and John Harriman. The family will greet friends Friday, January 5 from 5-7 pm at the K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The service will be Saturday 11:00 am at The Springs Church, 135 N. Grant St. Cedar Springs. Pastor JD Van Valin officiating. Interment Solon Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
