Dorothy M. Siegel

Dorothy M. Siegel, 85 of the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans, formerly of Sand Lake, died Tuesday, August 29, 2006. She received a Bachelor’s Degree from Aquinas College and a Master’s Degree from Gonzaga University. Dorothy served in the U.S. Army and retired as a Lt. Colonel. Survivors include 3 sisters, Loraine Watson of Grand Rapids, Mariel Hawley of Sparta, Jeanne Forand of New Port Richey, FL; 1 brother, Neil Siegel of Cedar Springs; 17 nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday 10:00 am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans Chapel. Interment St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, Sand Lake at 1:00 pm. Arrangements by Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
