Dorothy "Dottie" Broersma

Dorothy L. “Dottie” Broersma age 64 of Sand Lake died Monday, October 16, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born May 28, 1959 in Farmville, VA the daughter of David and Inamae (DeKorne) Skutt Jr. Dottie enjoyed collecting rocks, being in nature, gardening, sewing, quilting and crafting. She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Richard; children, Billy (Amy) Smith, Kelly (Lucas) Brinks, Angela (Mike) Losinger, Tyler (Lehanna) Smith, Kris (Bob) Ford, Melissa (Paul) Slauter; 12 grandchildren; siblings, David (Christie) Skutt, Roger (Tesa) Skutt, Joanna (Bill) Tippett. She was preceded in death by her parents. The family will greet friends Thursday, October 19 from 11:00 am until time of service at 12:00 pm at Pine Grove Community Church, 8775 E. 88th St. Howard City. Pastor Jeremy Scripps officiating.
