Doris I. Ringler

Doris I. Ringler, 87 of Cedar Springs, died Sunday, March 27, 2011 at her home. Doris was born April 17, 1923 the daughter of Glenn and Blanche (Essex) Harper. She was a member of the Cedar Springs American Legion Auxilary #287and the Cedar Springs Seniors. Surviving are her children, Irene (Mike) Buck, Ron (Pam) Ringler, Marie (Dean) Covey all of Cedar Springs, Linda (Gary) Grice of Sand Lake, Bob Ringler & Heide of Morley; 14 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; brothers, Darold (Jane) Harper, Norman (Delores) Harper all of Cedar Springs, Russell Harper of Rockford; sister, Helen (Walter) Nielsen of Cedar Springs; special friend, Marion Lily; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Evelyn Bremmer; sister-in-law, Sue Harper. The family will receive friends Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home where services will be held Tuesday 11:00 am. Pastor Dan Keur officiating. Interment Oakfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Spectrum Health Hospice.
