Doris A. Post

Doris A. Post age 95 of Sparta went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital. Mrs. Post was born June 15, 1924 in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Sousley) Timmerman. She was a very hard worker throughout her life and retired from General Motors Diesel Equipment after 32 years. Her family was her world and she enjoyed spending time with them and shopping with them. She loved the Lord. Surviving are her daughter, Sharon Siegel; grandchildren, Vicky (Tim) Bronkema, Ricky (Erika) Siegel; 3 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clifford; brothers, Chuck, Richard and Roger Timmerman; son-in-law, Ralph Siegel. The family will greet friends Sunday from 3-5 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The service will be Monday 1:30 pm at Camp Lake Baptist Church, 12150 Division Avenue, Sparta. Visitation will begin at 12:30 pm. Pastor Dennis Tyson officiating. Interment Plainfield Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Camp Lake Baptist Church Building Fund.
