Doris A. Mader

View Photo Tribute Doris A. Mader, 76 of Pierson, went to be with her Lord Wednesday, April 19, 2006. Doris was born April 4, 1930 in Howard City, MI the daughter of Wm. Arnold and Nora (Pagel) Mader. Despite her physical difficulties, Doris was an inspiration to all who met her. You always felt better after you spent time with her. Surviving are an aunt, Maxine Chapin of Grand Rapids; several cousins, including Lawrence Haack of Howard City; special friends and caregivers, Tony and Helga Rydz of Pierson. She was preceded in death by her sister Helen in 1989 and cousin Sid Rader in 2005. Visitation will be held Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The funeral service will be Saturday 11:00 am at the Church of the Full Gospel, Sand Lake. Pastors Verta Giddings and Gary Giddings officiating. Interment Pierson Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Full Gospel.
