Doris A. Degood

Doris Ann DeGood age 83 of Cedar Springs went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. She was born October 4, 1940 in Grand Rapids the daughter of Cecil and Bessie (Nicolai) German. Doris worked for many years at Keeler-Brass and was very involved with helping Don with the farming. She enjoyed canning, gardening, baking and her grandchildren. Surviving are her children, Douglas DeGood, Darryl (Marie) DeGood, Dean (LeAnne) DeGood, Dawn (Fred) VanderHaag, Dan DeGood; 14 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren with 3 on the way; sister-in-law, Esther Beemers. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Donald, son, Dennis; grandson, Bryce; siblings, Roy and Robert German, Martha Christopher. The family will greet friends Sunday March 17 from 3:00-5:00 pm at the K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs and Monday from 10-11 am at Rockford Reformed Church where the funeral will be at 11:00 am. Pastor Tim Meendering officiating. A luncheon will follow.
