Donna I. Newton

Donna I. Newton age 75 of Pierson, died Monday, July 20, 2009 at her home. Donna was born July 15, 1934 in Nelson Township, MI the daughter of Lee and Leone (Bremmer) Parker. Surviving are her husband, David; 3 children, Wayne (Sally) Newton of Sand Lake, Kim (Kathy) Newton of Pierson, Garry Newton (Karen Bennett) of Howard City; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Max and Ken Parker; 5 sisters, Esther Heiss, Wanda (Bill) Morris, Doris (Rusty) Martin, Edith (Dale) Johnson, Lois (Curt) Phillips; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Dennis Lee; 2 brothers, Wyman and Ronald Parker; and her parents. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, where services will be held Wednesday 11:00 am. Pastor Herb Vander Bilt officiating. Interment Sand Lake Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Spectrum Health Hospice.
