Donna V. Deewaard

Donna DeeWaard, 84 of Cedar Springs, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Metron of Cedar Springs. She was born July 9, 1927 in Canton, SD the daughter of William and Minnia (Nelson) Harmon. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, one sister, and her beloved daughter, Candy Hoare. Donna was a light in every life she touched. Her warmth and optimism made her beloved by many. She was the epitome of unconditional love to her children and grandchildren. Donna is survived by her children, Larry (Diane) DeeWaard of Saginaw; Kelly (Michele) DeeWaard of Cedar Springs, Bobette (Bill) Veneklase of Rockford; grandchildren, Danielle (Mike) Woodbury, Shannon (Randy) Soltys, Larry (Susan) DeeWaard II, Landon (Raquel) Case, Joshua (Jen) DeeWaard, Marissa (Anthony) Shaw, Jacob (Leslie) DeeWaard, Courtney Smith; brother, Jimmy Lee Harmon; many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. The family will greet friends Friday from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Pastor Craig Carter officiating.
