Donna J. Brown

Donna Jean (Truesdell) Brown age 88 of Sand Lake died Saturday, October 10, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born February 8, 1938 in Ionia the daughter of the late Elbridge “Bill” and Edessa (Daggett) Truesdell. Donna went to Muir High School and was a very active student. She worked at General Motors for 30 years where she was active in the UAW local #1231. Donna enjoyed having a good time with friends, visiting the casinos, and riding motorcycles. She was also active in the VFW Post # 830 auxiliary, American Legion #0274 auxiliary, and the Sand Lake Eagles #4467.

Surviving are her husband Richard “Dick”; children, Rick (Patricia) Nelson, Deborah (Dennis) Dingman, Scott (Terri) Nelson; stepchildren, Kari Brown, Eric (Nina) Brown; siblings, Bill (Bobbi) Truesdell, Robert “Bob” (Mary) Truesdell, Charlene (Bob) Ball; 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Iva (Art) Dickinson.

The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date. Arrangements by K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
