Donald P. Wilber

Donald P. Wilber age 74 of Cedar Springs, died Saturday, July 13, 2024 at his home with his family by his side. He was born December 28, 1949 in Lakeview, Michigan the son of Donald and Monadean (Johnston) Wilber. He worked as an electrician at General Motors Fisher Body for 36 years. Don was always available and willing to help people and fix things. He loved his family, especially his grandkids. Surviving are his wife, Loraine, who he married on April 15, 1972; children, Paul (Julie) Wilber, Julie (Marty) Aldrich, Rachel (Joe) Garcia, Levi (Sheena) Wilber; grandchildren, Alexa, Violet, Jett, Zoe, Tyler, Finn, Jude, Dinah, Clementine, Jasper and Lincoln; sister, Sandy Leal. He was preceded in death by siblings, Sharon Anger and Arnold Wilber. The family will greet friends Tuesday, July 16 from 6-8 pm at the K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The service will be Wednesday 11:00 am at The Springs Church, 135 N. Grant St. Cedar Springs. Pastors DeWayne Coxon and Jeff Lemire officiating. Interment East Nelson Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
