Donald J. Porter

Donald J. Porter age 76 of Belmont, died Thursday, June 25, 2020 at his home. Donald was born December 10, 1943 in Cedar Springs, MI, the son of Edward & Mildred (Smith) Porter. He is most known to his family and friends for his laughter and joke telling. He enjoyed working with wood and machines. Surviving are his children, Elizabeth Porter, Tianna (Dan) Burns, Donald Porter II, Nevada (Rob) Borkowski; grandchildren, Manda, Lila, Samantha, Joseph, Donald III, Leon, Jennifer, Leeanna, Roman, Sophia, Elijah; great grandchildren, Payson, Porter, Elli; siblings, Josephine (Daryl) Magoon, Pete Porter; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sons, Arthur D. Porter, Thomas F. Porter; daughter, Natasha C. Porter. The family will receive friends Friday, July 3 from 11:00 am to noon followed by a private family service at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Pastor Bruce Wilson officiating. Interment Solon Township Cemetery.
