Donald G. Degood

Donald G. DeGood age 83 of Cedar Springs went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Sunday, February 26, 2023. He was born December 15, 1939 in Cascade, MI the son of John and Johanna (Beimers) DeGood. He worked at McInerney Spring & Wire and was a farmer. He was a family man that loved Christ and taught his family to also. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Doris; children, Douglas DeGood, Darryl (Marie) DeGood, Dean (LeAnne) DeGood, Dawn (Fred) VanderHaag, Dan DeGood; 14 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Esther Beemers. He was preceded in death by a son, Dennis and a grandson, Bryce. The family will greet friends Thursday, March 2 from 6-8 pm at the K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The service will be Friday 11:00 am at Rockford Reformed Church, 4890 11 Mile Road, Rockford. Viewing will begin at 10:00 am. Pastor Tim Meendering officiating. Interment Cascade Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart or Diabetes Associations.
