Donald W. Braun

Donald W. Braun age 91 of Cedar Springs, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at his home. He was born December 11, 1933 in Georgetown Twp, MI the son of Norman and Willaveen (Reynolds) Braun. He graduated from Howard City High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1956 – 58. He was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, traveling and was a great fix-it man. He loved his family and the Lord. Surviving are his wife of 69 years, Shirley; daughter, Debra (Doug) Middleton; granddaughters, Rachel (Kevin) Wellman, Bree Middleton, Kelsie (Matt) Sakuta; great grandchildren, Parker, Payten, Alex, Edison and Marshall; brothers, Paul (LouAnn) Braun, John (Leslie) Braun; nieces and nephews. Also surviving are Ron Wier Sr, Ron Jr, Bob, Mike and their families. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lori Wier. The family will greet friends Tuesday, April 15 from 12:00 pm until time of service at 1:00 pm at the K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Pastor Tom Logsdon officiating. Interment Solon Township Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Hospice.
