Donald Edward Beardsley

Donald E. Beardsley, 85 of Grand Rapids Home for Veterans died Saturday, February 9, 2008. Mr. Beardsley was born August 3, 1922 in Detroit, MI the son of Glen and Nellie (Johns) Beardsley. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army and worked most of his life as a finish carpenter. Surviving are three children, Donna Hunter of Redford, Janet Beardsley of Livonia, Paul Beardsley of Livonia. He was preceded in death by his wife in 2005. There will be no services, cremation has taken place. Arrangements by Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
