Dolores C. Mack

Dolores Christie Mack age 82 of Sparta, MI passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, October 13, 2023. Dolores was born March 14, 1941 in Sparta, MI the sixth of seven children to Carl and Marie (Cotton) Pope. She married Clinton J. Mack on April 2, 1966 in Grand Rapids, MI. Dolores loved to dance. She enjoyed traveling in her RV and camping. Most of all, she cherished time spent with her family. Surviving are her children, James Mack, Jeffrey (Laura) Mack, Julie Mack; stepchildren, Scott Mack, Michele (Dan) VanderWal; grandchildren, Ashley, Danny, Lauren, Seth, Nathan, Justin; sister, Beverly (Bob) Vander Heide. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clinton; brothers, Ken Pope, Keith Pope; sisters, Joyce Hanna, Joan Curtis, Yvonne Adams. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 11 at 11:00 am at Plainfield Christian Church, 7199 Pine Island Dr., Comstock Park. The family will greet friends beginning at 10:00 am. Pastor Bruce Wilson officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Friends of the Michigan Veterans Home.
