Diana L. (Heiss) Frens

Diana L. (Heiss) Frens, 61 of Cedar Springs, died Thursday, October 25, 2007 at her home. Diana was born October 18, 1946 in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of David and Ethel (Schoonmaker) Heiss. She had bred and raised Chihuahua dogs and owned Diana’s Chihuahua Haven. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxilary. Surviving are two children, Darcey & Debra Raymond, Jr. of Cedar Springs, Darla & Ricki Myers of Texas; 3 grandchildren, Steven Thompson, Cory Myers, Cortney Myers; father, David Heiss of Cedar Springs; four sisters, Esther & Orville Hoag of Grand Rapids, Wanda Jean & Don Resler of Sand Lake, Ruth Ann & Gary Hagen of Cedar Springs, Janet Tiffany of Kent City and her fiancé, Jerry Hamp; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; mother, Ethel Heiss; brothers, Dale, David, Bruce, Steven Heiss; sister, Susan Heiss. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, where services will be held Monday 11:00 am. Interment Crandall Cemetery, Ensley Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart, Lung or Diabetes Association.
