Delta Marie Esch

Delta M. Esch, 88 of Cedar Springs, died Sunday, July 9, 2006. Mrs. Esch was born December 11, 1917 in Manton, MI the daughter of Rollo and Mable (Boyd) Nicholas. She retired from Cedar Springs Stamping in 1980 and had been a waitress at the Log Cabin Restaurant. She loved her family, especially her granddaughter and great granddaughters, and was a very social person. Surviving are one son and his wife, Dick & Glenda Esch of Sparta; 1 granddaughter and her husband, Dixie & Steve DeFouw of Cedar Springs; 2 great granddaughters, Stephanie and Jacquelyn; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank in 1985 and a brother, Delmar Nicholas. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, where services will be held Wednesday 2:00 p.m. Pastor Doug DiBell officiating. Interment Solon Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Solon Wesleyan Church.
