Del W. Blumenshine Ii

Del W. Blumenshine II age 64 of Cedar Springs, died Monday, June 17, 2019 at his home. Del was born May 23, 1955 in Cedar Rapids, IA the son of Del and Mary Jane (Janzam) Blumenshine. He was a technical analyst at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital. He was an active bike rider and loved the Mackinaw area. He enjoyed the Detroit sports teams, the music group Genesis and trains of any size. He was very kind and loving. Surviving are his wife, Elaine; children, Heidi Thill, Rebecca Marvin, Jennifer (Kevin) Stremler, Holly (Jason) Fetterhoff, Kenneth Gregerson II; 17 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy O’Brien; and numerous longtime friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Karen; 2 grandchildren. The family will greet friends Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. There will be no formal service. Memorials may be made to the Childlife Program at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.
