David L. Viau

David Lee Viau age 87 of Cedar Springs, died Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at his home. He was born October 10, 1937 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of David and Dorothy (Mansel) Viau. He had worked for Klingman Furniture and was enjoying retirement with his wife Cheryl until her passing in August, 2024. David enjoyed nature, playing chess and the companionship of his cats. He is survived by his children, Todd (Kathy) Viau of Grand Rapids, Rebecca Viau of Cedar Springs; step children, Scott (Tammy Dayson) McIntosh of Newaygo, Michelle (Lee) Plotts of White Cloud; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sisters, Darla (Dodie) Viau of California, Paulette (Polly) Mayes of Lowell. He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Dorothy Viau. In keeping with Dave’s wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no service at this time. Arrangements by K.E.
