David O. Newton

David O. Newton 82 of Pierson, died Friday, June 3, 2016 at home. David was born May 22, 1934 the son of Owen and Leona (Ludjen) Newton. Surviving are his children, Wayne (Sally), Kim (Kathy), and Garry; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; brother, Chuck (Rose) Newton; sister, Marilyn (Duane) Anderson; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna in 2009; son, Dennis; sisters, Delores Croff and Karen Newton. The family will greet friends Monday from 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs where the service will be held Tuesday 11:00 am. Pastor Herb VanderBilt officiating. Interment Sand Lake Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Spectrum Health Hospice.
