David W. Newman

David W. Newman age 72 of Cedar Springs, died Saturday, October 10, 2020 at his home. David was born September 3, 1948 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Robert and June (Centilli) Newman. He proudly served his country in Vietnam as a U.S. Marine and enjoyed being with others at the Cedar Springs American Legion Post. He was a tree trimmer and known as Tree Top. Surviving are his daughters, Lori Newman, Regin VanPutten, Linda Milley; 7 grandchildren including Madison Hills and Austin Workman; 1 great granddaughter, Grace Irish; sister, Diane Irish. A time to celebrate David’s life and greet his family will be held Saturday, October 17 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at New Chapel, 1029 4 Mile Road NW, Grand Rapids.
