David Myslenski, aged 42, of Sand Lake, passed away from this life to continue his life with Jesus on February 10, 2007. He fought a courageous battle against leukemia. This is his faith: I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course. I have kept the faith. Henceforth, there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge shall give to me at that day; and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing. David is survived by his wife of 20 years Kristine L. (Davidson) Myslenski, five children; Ben, Dan, Shannah, Rebekah and Josiah, his mother Lucille (Kalinowski) Myslenski of Grand Rapids, two sisters; Susan Weersing of Marion and Carla Bulthouse of Coopersville, his brother James (Teresa) Myslenski of KY, many nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his father Henry I. Myslenski. He was a faithful employee of Monarch Hydraulics for 20 plus years. He had a passion for drag racing and enjoyed hunting, fishing and the out-of-doors. Funeral services for David will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Resurrection Life Church, Newaygo, MI with Pastor Robert Wood officiating. Interment will take place at Graceland Memorial Park, Grand Rapids. Visitation Tuesday 6-8 and Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Memorial contributions to assist in the education of the children would be appreciated.
