David S. Loveless

David Sidney Loveless, age 74 of Rockford, Michigan went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at his home. He was born June 23, 1950 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Ralph and Marjorie (Ogletree) Loveless. Dave was grateful for God’s forgiveness and trusted Him with his life. He enjoyed traveling and had a great sense of humor. He and his wife, Elaine had a visitation ministry to many widows and shut-ins. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Elaine (Crater) whom he loved very much; son, Mark (Jennifer) Loveless; son-in-law, Wesley Thrasher; grandchildren, Olivia (Andrew) Bates, Abigail (Evan G.) Wilson, Elaina Loveless, Ivana (Benjamin) Perley, Adrienne Thrasher, Alegra Thrasher; great grandchildren, Hector, Rowena, Augustus and Beverly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Marjorie; daughter, Dawn Thrasher; sister, Evelyn (Bearss) Cook. The family will greet friends Wednesday, January 8 from 11:00 until time of service at 12:00 pm at the Cedar Springs Baptist Church, 233 S. Main St. Cedar Springs. Pastor Mike Wittmer officiating. Private family interment at Courtland Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Cedar Springs Baptist Church Building Fund.
