David C. Banker 62 of Belmont, flew safely into the arms of Jesus on Friday, November 13, 2009. David was born March 14, 1947 in Detroit, MI the son of George and Louise (Kanocz) Nusekabel, Sr. He worked for Amway Corp. for 20 years and was presently employed at Nucraft Furniture in Comstock Park. He enjoyed making and flying kites, woodworking, riding bikes and geocaching with his wife. He was a member of Blythefield Hills Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife Jane, daughter, Bethany Banker of Chicago, IL; stepson, Matthew (SalLee) Weidman of Lowell; granddaughters, Chelsea and Abby; brothers, Michael (Linda) Mullady of Texas, Douglas Banker of Ypsilanti; sisters, Judy (Lee) Benvie of Ohio, Phyllis (Don) Gerhardt of Ohio, Dana Banker of Rockford. He was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Banker. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 21 from 10:30 am until time of memorial service at 11:30 am at the Blythefield Hills Baptist Church, 6727 Kuttshill Dr. NE, Rockford. Pastor Gary Heim officiating. A luncheon will follow the service at church. Private family interment will take place at Blythefield Memory Gardens.
