Danny Lee Hanna

Danny Lee Hanna, 58 of Grand Rapids, died Friday, February 20, 2009. Danny was born August 31, 1950 in Cedar Springs, MI the son of Fred and Charlotte (McConnell) Hanna. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War. Surviving are his significant other, Nancy Davis; children, Melissa Humphrey, Michelle (John) Waber, Thomas (Jennifer) Hanna, Danny Hanna, Jr., Patrice Cardosa; 11 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; step father, Leonard Haggerty; brothers and sisters, Charles (Janice) Hanna, Lyle (Judy) Hanna, Jim Hanna, Betty Elkins, Bonnie Welch, Judy (Jerry) Markham, Peggy Jean Hanna; brother-in-law, Conway Miller; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Carol Miller. A memorial service will take place Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at 11:00 am at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Pastor Douglas Compton from Alpine Baptist Church officiating. The family will receive friends at 10:00 am. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, Cedar Springs.
