Connie Ann Tiede, aged 55, of Rockford, went to be with her Lord and Savoir on Thursday, June 8, 2006 at her home while in the presence of her loving family after a three year battle with cancer. Connie was preceded in death by her husband Richard in 1992. She was a school teacher for 26 years at Pilgrim Bible Academy. She was a frequent supporter of charitable organizations and was a member of Pilgrim Bible Church. Surviving are her parents Maynard and Ella Mae Mosher of Sand Lake, her brother and sister-in-law Rodney J. (Sue) Mosher of Rockford, a foster son Mike (Missy) Wise and their children Kiara and Keyandra of N. Dakota, four nephews; Kenneth and Peter (Grace) Mosher, Mical and Dr. Matthew (Mindy) Tiede, a great nephew Hunter Mosher and a great niece Kadence Tiede and her missionary exchange student Jude Pierre of Haiti, Mother-in-law Martha Tiede of Greenville, Brothers-in-law; Merlin (Mary) of Ada, Terry (Gaylene) of Rockford and Doug (Brenda) Tiede of Ravenna , several aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many special friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 12, 2006 at Pilgrim Bible Church at 11:00 A.M., with her Pastor Knox Bullock officiating. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to Hospice of Michigan or Pilgrim Bible Church and Academy have been suggested. Visitation Saturday 6-8 P.M. and Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
