Clara M. Bishop

Clara M. Bishop, 92 of Cedar Springs, went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Spectrum Health – Butterworth Campus. Mrs. Bishop was born May 7, 1921 in Armada, MI the daughter of William and Emma (Ferrier) Bishop. She always put God first and then family before self. Surviving are her children, Sharon Bishop, Carol Bishop, Donna (Walt) Austin, Paul (Sherry) Bishop, MaryEllen Bishop, John (Sandra) Bishop, Mark (JoEllen) Bishop, Morris (Sonja) Bishop, Pete (Sherry) Bishop, Steve Bishop, Anthony (Stacy) Bishop, Ron (Melissa) Bishop; 25 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jonathan Bishop, William “Bill” Bishop; children, Adrian “Jimmy” Bishop Jr., David Bishop, William “Billie” Bishop; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Bishop; grandson, Brent Bishop; great granddaughter, Emorie Bishop. The family will greet friends Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The service will be held Saturday 2:00 pm at Pilgrim Bible Church, Cedar Springs. Pastors Michael Shiery and David Spivey officiating. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, Cedar Springs. Memorial contributions may be made to Pilgrim Bible Church.
