Cherie D. Edwards

Cherie D. Edwards, 54 of Cedar Springs died Thursday, June 28, 2018 at her home in the care of her family. Cherie was born February 19, 1964 in Marlette, MI the daughter of William and Muriel (Hergenreder) Beltz. She graduated from Oxford High School and was the center on the girl’s basketball team. She graduated from GVSU with an associate degree and had worked at Davis Dental Lab for 30 years as a senior dental technician. She successfully bred, raised, trained and showed Standard Schnauzers. She was loved by all she met and had a huge heart. Her workers at Davis Dental were like family to her where she was known as Cher Bear. Surviving are her husband, Mark; sons, Raymond and girlfriend, Samantha DeGood, and Theodore; parents, William and Muriel Beltz; brother, William Beltz II; sister, Wendi (Tommie) Ward; best friend, Stephanie Miller; sister-in-law, Janice (Shawn) McWilliams; nephews, Brendan and Sean Bennett; cousin, David (Dawn) Beltz. The family will greet friends Monday from 11:00am until time of service at 1:00 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Pastor Larry Young officiating.
