Charles A. Schneider

Charles Arnold Schneider age 82 of Rockford passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at his home. He was born October 15, 1939 in Portland, MI the son of Leonard and Regina (Huhn) Schneider. Chuck was always outdoors so he enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He was a great cook over a camp fire and in a kitchen. He enjoyed canning his special taco sauce. Chuck was a member of St. John Paul II Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Doral; children, Carolyn (Tom) Noack, Thomas (Ann) Schneider, Michael (Julie) Schneider, Sara (Bill) Hibbs; grandchildren, Christine Noack (Gregg Mikesell), Maria (Carlos) Pons, Victoria (Keegan) White, Laura (Andrew) Shaw, Katie Schneider, Megan Schneider, Allison Schneider; great grandchildren, Noah White, Benjamin Shaw, Carl (CJ) Pons; brother, Dan (Mary Jo) Schneider; sisters, Elaine Eck, Kathleen Spitzley; sister-in-law, Frances Schneider. He was preceded in death by his brother, William Schneider; sister, Janice and Joe Kavanagh; brothers-in-law, Bob Eck, Dan Spitzley. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, September 19 at 2:00 pm at St. John Paul II Catholic Church, Cedar Springs with the family greeting friends at 12:30 pm. Celebrant Rev. Fr. Lam Le.
