Charles C. King

Charles C. King, 56 of Sand Lake, died Saturday, February 2, 2008 at his home. Charles was born June 17, 1951 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Jack and Joan (Kee) King. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving in the Vietnam War and was an electrician at Knoll Office Furniture for 35 years. Surviving are his wife, Janet (Moon); 2 sons, Ryan (Amanda) King, Justin King; 2 sisters, Patricia (Keith) Valencourt, Kolleen (Robert) Scheid; sister-in-law, Michelle (Mike) Shedd; 2 brothers, Michael (Michelle) King, Lance (Terese) King; parents-in-law, Edwin & Barbara Moon, sisters-in-law, Kathy Moon, Mary Fish; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, Mark King; 2 brothers-in-law, Duane Fish and Mike Stone. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, where services will be held Wednesday 11:00 am. Pastor Gary Giddings officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sand Lake Library.
