Charles "Charlie" Pritchard

Charles “Charlie” Pritchard, Jr. age 92 of Newaygo died Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at home surrounded by his family. He was born November 9, 1931 in Gaylord, MI the son of Charles and Jennie (Woodruff) Pritchard. He was a supervisor for many years at McInerny Spring & Wire. Charlie loved being outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving is the love of his life, Laverne Smith; children, Steve (Valerie) Pritchard, Joni (Scott) Quinn, Kathy (Tim) McGee, Ann (Mark) Balczak; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson; sister, Doris Dortch; brother, Ron (Sally) Pritchard. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Pritchard; daughters, Linda Eberhardt, Sandra Pritchard, Susan Misner. The family will greet friends 10:00 am Tuesday, January 9 at K.E. Funeral Home where the funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Pastor Bruce Wilson of Plainfield Christian Church, officiating. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. A luncheon to follow at the American Legion. Memorials to the American Cancer Society.
