Carole L. Stevens

Carole Lynn Stevens age 81 of Cedar Springs, died Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at New Haven Assisted Living of Belmont. She was born July 17, 1944 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Fay (Brooks) Young. Carole graduated from Sparta High School in 1963. She was always a hard worker and took pride in her work. Carole was quite artistic, enjoying ceramics, flower arranging, drawing fashionable clothing, and decorating. In her spare time, she loved to watch Hallmark movies and do puzzles. Carole was a faithful and loving mother and grandmother. She will be missed by many.

Carole is survived by her daughters, Christine Peake, Jennifer (Craig) Helsel; grandchildren, Cole (Natalie) Helsel, Ethan Helsel, Samantha (Danny) Sullivan, Austin Peake; siblings, Larry (Audrey) Young, Steven (Christine) Young, Tammy Carr; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, John Peake; sisters, Connie Reep and Kathy Siefken.

Per her wishes she will be cremated and buried at Pine Grove Cemetery in Comstock Park.
